Traditional fine jewelers offer overpriced jewelry with 5-8x markups, while at the same time, delivering low quality products.
That’s not the story here. We strive to provide brand name quality jewelry at less than half the price by keeping everything in house. No wholesalers, no salesman, no separate retail channels, no six figure price tags, and no outrageous mark ups. Antandre pieces are better than the rest and available for far less. See why below.
The average fine jewelry item in America is comprised of 10kt gold and is set with diamonds that have a color grade of J-K and a clarity grade of I2. This means customers are buying jewelry with slightly yellow/brown tinted diamonds, which are full of impurities. Antandre only uses 14kt gold, and we set our pieces with G+ color and SI+ quality diamonds; stones that are much higher on the grading scales and are stunning to look at.
Clarity measures how flawless diamonds are. When you buy traditional retail products, you’re getting the lowest quality diamonds with eye visible inclusions.
Color measures how colorless diamonds are. The higher they are on the scale, the whiter and shinier they are
Pure gold is so soft it is rarely used in jewelry. Jewelers deal with various gold alloys, collectively called karat gold. Karat (K) tells the number of parts, by weight, of gold in 24 parts of alloy. The higher the percentage of pure gold, the higher the karat.
